| Seniors Have Legal Issues too |

Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma (LASO) is a non-profit Oklahoma corporation providing free legal services to Oklahoma's poor people as well as senior citizens. LASO does not discriminate based on race, age, color, religion, national origin, or disability. To receive a request for assistance older adults must call the Senior Services Hotline at (405) 557-0014 - the Hotline is a 24 hour message receiver. You must leave your name, phone number, and your issue on the recorder. If you received a notice requiring an immediate response, please indicate this on the recorder. Volunteers, Legal Staff, and Attorneys take the information off the recorder several times during the day and phone calls are returned as quickly as possible - due to the limitations and limited number of persons available it does take time. Be sure to contact Legal Aid as soon as you have an issue. Your problem may not be accepted due to limited funding available for senior services, but all callers will receive legal advice and referral if representation is not available.
